hen we were first introduced to Polo G, he was an unassuming 19-year-old, up-and-coming Chicago rapper. A little over 2 years later, he has blossomed into a worldwide icon. With 16 Billboard Hot 100 songs under his belt, Polo has cemented himself in the world of hip hop for years to come.
In a world where music and fashion go hand in hand, it is imperative that today’s music artists cultivate their own lifestyle brands that are easily identifiable and uniquely them. In order for Polo G to leverage the full-potential of his fashion business, we recommended rebranding all his merchandise under the brand name Capalot.
For the brand's inaugural collection, Polo requested a Christmas theme, giving birth to the Capalot Christmas collection.
In addition to designing and producing the merchandise, we built and managed an online shop for the collection, and we handled all packaging, shipping, and customer service needs.

The Polo Bear Ugly Christmas Sweater
"The Polo Bear Sweater" was LOUD's rendition of King Capalot's very-own ugly Christmas sweater. Polo mentioned being a fan of the 1990s-era Coca-Cola Christmas boxers growing up. So, we depicted him posted with a Polar Bear, adorned in his famous “Capalot” chain.
Polo debuted this design at a Chicago Bulls game in early December where he was the guest of honor. The Polo Bear Sweater went on to become the best-selling item in the Capalot Christmas collection.
A Polo G Christmas: a Chicago Story
The “Chicago Christmas Hoodie” commemorated the rapper’s Windy City roots. The design encapsulated the city’s skyline with Chicago's iconic “el” bursting out of a snow globe.
Polo G enshrined the hoodie by sporting it in the opening sequence of the trailer for his platinum selling album, GOAT.
For our last marquise item, we proposed a Calabasas Christmas shirt. Polo’s sister informed us that he loves red, vintage convertibles. So, we illustrated an aerial shot of Polo flying over his new Calabasas crib in a red convertible-sleigh, as stacks of cash confetti all over town.
